Our programmers (that's not them up there, but that is what it looks like when they work) are working around the clock and are in the midst of finishing up a brand spankin' new website for you (all 37 of you who check this blog out) to enjoy, and let us tell you, you're in for a real treat. We've still got some kinks (double), and tweaks (preferably stalefish) to work out, but in the mean time, here's a small peek at some new boards, because believe it or not, that's what Weekend Snowboards is all about, snowboards. Ranch hand

It's summertime, and when Mark Carter isn't doing what he does best in the wintertime (snowboarding), he's doing what he does best in the summertime.......um........wrangling, all sorts of animals. Is that the right word? Anyhow, in the summer Mark works at his family's ranch in Ten Sleep, Wyoming. You can even visit if you like. We're planning on it, some day, when we summon the courage. The good life.

The many faces of Eddie Wall

We have boat-loads of excuses for you for why we haven't posted anything in so long, but we'll save them and just come right out and tell you: we're sorry. Truly sorry. With that said, we hope you forgive us, and let's get on with it.

We know this is old news, but figured it was still blog worthy. Most of you most likely already know, but to those of you who weren't aware, Eddie had is very own contest up in Mammoth during their annual West Coast Invitational, aptly named The Eddie Wallride Invitational. The event was fun, cool set-up, good snowboarding, sunny weather, we gave away an iPad, yada yada yada, but what we were most excited about were these passes, more specifically the pictures of the many personas of Eddie Wall on them. Very Professional.

Top Secret

Eddie Wall (of videohypershred fame) stopped by the office yesterday to discuss top secret things having to do with artwork and things having to do with snowboards. We can't tell you anything more specific, but we can tell you that it is/is going to be good. Real good. In the meantime, enjoy this photo of Eddie displaying proper apres-ski parking lot disco etiquette.

Just a taste

If you happen to live, or find yourself in a place that is close to a Tiki Bar, we suggest you visit it this weekend. Just sayin', there could be torches, cool-looking statues, waitresses in grass skirts and coconut bikinis (who doesn't like coconut bikinis?), or if you're reading this, and you're a girl, they probably also have the little paper umbrellas to put in your drinks that were most likely made in a blender. It could be fun. So could the board that may or may not have this in the graphics. Just sayin'.

Euro Gap

As some of you may already know, Heikki is going to be performing his snowboard tricks in a new film titled Euro Gap, due out this fall. From the looks/sounds of things, it is a pretty heavy crew of both riders and filmers, so it is bound to be a good one. AND it will be free, which is also nice.
